We're finishing up our time in Geneva today and heading to the town of Interlaken, which we're told is one of the most beautiful towns in the world. We've gone down to the United Nations and demanded debt relief for third world countries, but the process is slow and the delegates from Russia were being real pains in the asses. Without Kofi Annan, the whole place is kind of falling apart... We also walked by the International Red Cross and along the edge of Lake Geneva, which is truly stunning in its scenic beauty. Yesterday, we took the train to Montreaux, on the opposite side of the lake, for the beginning of the Montreaux Jazz Festival. The festival is apparently well renowned, but since neither Vanessa or I know anything about jazz, we were just happy to be walking around. Still, the music was great; we sat on the lawn in front of an outdoor stage along with a few hundred other concertgoers eating, drinking, playing cards and napping. Strangely enough, one of the groups that performed was from California University East Bay.
As always, food continues to be one of the best parts of the trip - Switzerland is very international, so there is a good variety of international foods. I had some excellent kebab yesterday, as well as numerous soft and fluffy croissants. We ate some Chinese food from a place called Mike Wongs who pretty much copies the marketing and branding of McDonalds. The "w" in Wong looks like an upside-down McDonalds "M". Today we'll be indulging in Swiss chocolate, which apparently makes Hersheys taste like crap.

We are really enjoying your posts. However, slamming Hershey's (particularly when in a foreign country) borders on heresy, not to mention poor foreign policy! Get a grip on yourselves!
After your initial Amsterdam post, I tried (purely for research reasons) to find the Sexaeum online. It's only listed as a possibility for one of those domain names that you can purchase. So it was a dead end.
Not a total wash out, however. Rabbi Baron & Chanie seemed to really enjoy the photo. They send their best! Expect an email.
A few days ago, on the internet, I was hoping to find a July 4th celebration in the Netherlands for you. We are such a revered entity worldwide, you'd think that, at least, one country would celebrate vicariously. The American embassy in Amsterdam was closed on July 4th, however, so that was that!
Finally, you will be heartened to know that "Robb Wedding Photo" has (for the time being) replaced "Dog Climbing Tree" as the number requested item among ADT personnel and Neil's customer base. You two are numero uno. Now, I can't guarantee how long this will last, but I'll do my best.

I think Mike was mistaken. It is just called the Amsterdam Sex Museum. That may lead you to websites with possibly accurate material. But just search for SEX, you'll probably find it.
Well, okay. But, as I inferred previously, my interest was purely metaphysical!
Glad to see that you are eating lots of delicious food and can't wait to hear more about your great adventure!
I know you're going to Florence in a few days. If you're interested, the (new) Jewish Museum in Florence opened this year.

We'll look for it and check it out if we have time. As long as it doesn't have the insane lines that the Anne Frank Haus had!
